The Global Series™ is a great compliment to the Original Pancake® Air Cylinder from Fabco-Air. The Global Series™ is a metric, compact interchangeable air cylinder line that is loaded with features and benefits.
This particular type of pneumatic actuator was designed to satisfy the need for short stroke, low profile, metric body, compact air cylinders that would fit in very small spaces. The Global Series™ Air Cylinder Line is interchangeable with other brands, but unmatched concerning features, options, quality, strength, appearance, and longevity.
The Fabco-Air, Inc., Global Series™ Air Cylinder Line is available in the following 10 bore sizes: 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 63mm, 80mm, and 100mm.
The Global Series™ is available in an assortment of configurations:
- Adjustable Stroke Extend
- Adjustable Stroke Retract
- Back-to-Back
- Tandem
- Double Acting, Non-Rotating
- Guided (GT Series)
In addition to a full complement of mounting options, the Global Series™ has 3 port choices (NPT, BSP Parallel, and BSP Tapered). Standard rod end choices include female with wrench flats or male rod with wrench flats and jam nut.
The high quality, compact air cylinder bodies are machined from the highest quality aluminum bar-stock. Additionally, the cylinder bodies are hard anodized for superior appearance and corrosion resistance. The oversized, hard chrome plated stainless steel piston rod adds longevity to the cylinder. A non-metallic, Duralon® rod bushing is a standard feature that strengthens one of the primary load bearing points on an air cylinder: the rod bushing.
