Controls for Balancers
Bal-Trol® Controls by Tri-Motion™ Industries are engineered to provide reliable and safe control of pneumatic balancing hoists. Controls are available in three different configurations to provide varying degrees of operator proximity to hoist or balance applications.
Sensi-Touch® (S) (SL) Controls- Load hook is directly under control providing close observation
- Range of FLOAT (or balance) is 4 to 6 inches
- Allows for variable speed
- Speed adjustments require NO tools
- Loss of air pressure will NOT result in load dropping
- Original Sensi-Touch® (S) features:
- Large grip diameter
- Convenient down speed control
- Compatible with all Bal-Trol® models and sizes
- Uniquely designed for either vertical or horizontal hoists
- Small Sensi-Touch® Control - 5-375 pound hoist capacity
- Large Sensi-Touch® Control - 400-1200 pound hoist capacity
- Slim-Line Sensi-Touch® (SL) features:
- Small comfortable size
- Same load and speed as Original Sensi-Touch®
- Convenient UP & DOWN speed adjustment locations
- Compatible with all Bal-Trol® models and sizes
- Minimum 45 psi
- Uniquely designed for either vertical or horizontal hoists
- Small Slim-Line Sensi-Touch® Control - 5-375 pound hoist capacity
- Large Slim-Line Sensi-Touch® Control - 400-1200 pound hoist capacity

Speed Handle (H) Controls
- Control is remote from load allowing for safe worker condition
- Range of FLOAT (or balance) is 2 to 4 inches
- Allows for variable speed

- For constant weight balance applications
- True balance over entire travel
- No maintenance - Easy installation
- Nominal air consumption required for lifting load only
- No spring fatigue
- Balance can be either Constant, Bias UP, or Bias DOWN
- Available models:
- Balancer with High Relief Regulator - 5-100 pound hoist capacity
- Balancer with Small Servo Relief Valve - 125-375 pound hoist capacity
- Balancer with Large Servo Relief Valve - 400-800 pound hoist capacity
