COM-PICK GRIPPERS

Compact Air Com-Pick Grippers are pneumatically operated devices designed for industrial applications such as robotics, pick-n-place, and automated assembly. Each unit features a double-acting Compact Cylinder actuator. Available in Angular Motion, or Parallel Motion Grippers, there is a solution for every application.

ANGULAR MOTION GRIPPERS represent the lowest cost design. The piston actuator pushes the cam, or yoke, forward, rocking/pivoting the jaws open. The pull stroke closes the jaws. A four- way valve circuit is required for control.

FEATURES:

  • Pneumatic service 5 psi to 200 psi

  • 3/4" - 8" bore

  • Low profile, low weight aluminum, alloy body

  • Stainless steel piston rod

  • Nylon rod bushing

  • Buna-N seals

  • Pre-lubed for life 

OPTIONS:

  • Round or Square body styles

  • 2 or 3 jaw

  • Magnetic piston (adds 1/4" to length)

  • 1" - 5" finger length

  • High temperature Viton seals**

  • High temperature "TFE" seals**

  • (**jaw may have to be re-ground to compensate metal expansion in elevated temperature)

  • Double rod end actuators

  • Jaws made of "1018" free machining steel available as

  • blank, pre-modified or custom.

PARALLEL MOTION GRIPPERS represent a highly versatile and flexible design. The integral pneumatic cylinder pushes the jaws open. The jaws slide along two hardened guide rods. The pull stroke closes the jaws. All units are of two-jaw design. A four-way valve circuit is required for control.

FEATURES:

  • Pneumatic service 15psi to 200psi

  • 1/2" - 2" bore

  • 2-jaw style only

  • Low profile, low weight aluminum alloy body 

  • Stainless steel piston rod

  • Nylon rod bushing

  • Buna-N seals

  • Pre-lubed for life 

OPTIONS:

  • Square body mounting options; front/rear or base mount

  • Magnetic piston (adds 1/3" to length)

  • Blank, "L" shaped, drilled, or custom modified fingers

  • High temperature Viton seals**

  • High temperature "TFE" Seals**

  • (**jaw may have to be re-ground to compensate metal expansion in elevated temperatures)
